Welcome to The White Lion!

A visionary and completely unique live music venue and bar run by Music 4 Children, a charity dedicated to helping vulnerable children worldwide. Conveniently located in a large Victorian building on the well-connected Streatham High Road, the complex includes accommodation for 70 people, a fantastic bar with live music most evenings, an enclosed beer garden and a workshop space that can also be used for community meetings and projects.

The White Lion was once a bustling venue that lost its way and was eventually closed down. Through some musical links, the building was offered to Music4Children as a location that we could make our home and use to create funding opportunities, putting on events and helping local community projects.

Having been here for 2 years now, our ongoing works to improve and refurbish this building, has seen us transform the bar and garden and creation of a workshop space that is now in use.

Music is at the heart of this venue and if you love it as much as we do, you'll have no shortage of like-minded souls to hang out with here. The venue is run by highly experienced live music promoters, so you can expect to enjoy a wide range of live acts almost every evening.
